Tottenham’s start to the season has been disastrous. Roberto De Zerbi’s men suffered back-to-back defeats vs Brentford (3-0) and Newcastle (0-2) – and now come up against a recent bogey team. Forest have won each of the last four editions of this fixture, including 3-0 victories home and away last term. To say Hull and Aston Villa have endured contrasting starts to the season would be something of an understatement. The newly-promoted Tigers claimed back-to-back wins over Manchester United (2-0) and Coventry (0-1), while Villa suffered consecutive defeats vs Brighton (4-0) and champions Arsenal (0-1) – failing to register a shot on target in either game. So while Unai Emery’s side are the pre-match favourites here at 1.79, it feels like covering the other two possible match outcomes at slightly better odds is the superior choice.
