It really has been a tough start to the new season for Villa. Unai Emery’s side are winless from their first three Premier League games, a disappointing 0-0 draw at Hull following consecutive defeats to Brighton (4-0) and Arsenal (0-1). The team’s lack of attacking threat is cause for concern, which is not ideal ahead of a trip to Belgium. Club Brugge are on four wins from five in their league campaign, and are yet to concede on home soil. So while Villa are the pre-match favourites, backing the slight underdog in Tuesday’s early kick-off could be the way to go.
Real Madrid vs Inter Milan: Anytime goalscorer – Kylian Mbappe @ 1.53
Mbappe is already on four goals from as many La Liga games in 2026-27, though the Frenchman may still be reeling from his stoppage-time penalty miss in the 1-0 loss at Real Betis last Friday. However, a striker of his quality nearly always responds with goals – and his recent record in the Champions League is frightening. Mbappe netted 15 times in just 11 appearances last season, quite ridiculous numbers. Inter may have come from 2-0 down to beat Napoli 3-2 on the weekend, but the defensive issues on show at San Siro should whet Mbappe’s goalscoring appetite.
Porto vs Manchester City: Anytime goalscorer – Erling Haaland @ 1.90
Backing Mbappe and Haaland to score? Yeah, we know the tips are far from the most original. But the forwards just seem to deliver with frightening regularity. Man City star Haaland netted three goals in his first three Premier League matches of the season – including the crucial strike in last Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Coventry. The Norwegian has 16 goals in his previous 19 Champions League outings, and looks perfectly placed to extend that record in Porto.
Barcelona vs Feyenoord: Barcelona total goals – Over 3.5 @ 1.77
In case you were unaware, Barcelona’s start to 2026-27 has been frightening. Four wins from four in La Liga and 17 goals scored, Hansi Flick’s side look ready to challenge for European glory. Amazingly, Barca netted five times in three of their top-flight outings thus far following the recent 5-0 victory at Valencia. Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez and Anthony Gordon are all in red-hot form, and should blow away a Feyenoord team which is without a clean sheet in their previous four Eredivisie contests.
Bayern Munich vs Bodo/Glimt: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.60
While we expect Bayern to claim the win at the Allianz Arena, backing Bodo/Glimt to join them on the scoresheet could be a wise pre-match move. The Bavarians boast just one clean sheet in their first four matches of the campaign, while Bodo are a team renowned for attacking football and goals. The side from Norway are on a seven-game winning run, scoring at least twice in all of those contests. A high-scoring thriller in Munich? It looks firmly on the cards!
